People always react more to goals and local lad, scoring the winner in a derby game is some story.
Also very articulate for an 18 year-old interviewed fresh after the game.
I agree about Elliott-just like Rooney when first in the Everton side, this lad already has the physique and presence of a man.
The other encouraging performances were from Trent part 2 in Neco Williams (one of yours I think ZIP and already better than Gunter

) and the young French lad who was rushed into replacing Milner and ended up playing well enough to get Walcott substituted.
Liverpool got away with it in the first half but dominated the second so much that Everton didn't have a shot on target.
