It’s a bit of a shame he’s getting on a little bit now, as if he was showing this form and was about 5 years younger, he might even get an England call up.paultheroyal wrote:Michail "i am not good as Kebe, even now" Antonio" did ok yesterday.
Desperate times desperate measures.Old Man Andrews wrote:I am hearing from a source that Chris Gunter is going to Charlton.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Can't remember many moaning when he was sold though and from memory we got quite a decent sell on clause for the timepaultheroyal wrote:Michail "i am not good as Kebe, even now" Antonio" did ok yesterday.
Yep, selling him and getting McCleary on a free was one of the best bits of business we’ve ever done. Antonio’s developed a good eye for goal but he didn’t have the sort of quality we needed. We gave the lad every chance here, he failed, he went elsewhere and succeeded. Good on him.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Not at all. Message board of opinion. I am of course allowed to offer a counter opinion and cant help it if i am right, continually when it comes to Antonio.Snowflake Royal wrote:Are you his agent or something.paultheroyal wrote:Michail "i am not good as Kebe, even now" Antonio" did ok yesterday.

I guess it shows what you can do when there aren't 4 players better than you in your position already at the club.paultheroyal wrote:Michail "i am not good as Kebe, even now" Antonio" did ok yesterday.
Surely better business were selling Hughes and Blackman ...SCIAG wrote:Yep, selling him and getting McCleary on a free was one of the best bits of business we’ve ever done. I predict for Charlton, it will be like when we signed Ian Harte. Good luck to him!morganb wrote:DONE DEAL: Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Reading defender Chris Gunter.

I think he'll do really well there. His time was up here but still a championship standard player imomorganb wrote:DONE DEAL: Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Reading defender Chris Gunter.
