blythspartan Been reading some of the media’s comments about Swansea’s win last night and some of the eulogising is ridiculous. Anyone would think that they’d just thumped Brazil 3-0. I fully expect them to be fighting for promotion this season but they may face a few tougher challenges than our youngsters.

You think they'll fight for promotion? Their underlying numbers last season were si.ilar to ours, mid table, and they lost their main source of goals.

I was basing it on them reaching the playoff final but tbh I don’t know much about their incomings and outgoings this season. I have never liked them that much but that’s purely based on getting into a fight with some of their supporters on the Oxford Road near the Battle Hospital entrance many years ago.

bakerlou I may have meant Camara there, sorry - very small guy who played CM for most of the match.

Clarke was the only one who looked physically ready.

Don't know about Camara but Osario is tiny

Listed as 5ft 6ins. Which is two inches shorter than Keith Jones, who himself always looked tiny out there.

That's shorter than me.

Who was the tall midfield player on our side?

I genuinely did not have a clue who at least half our players where :o

Couldn't see numbers clearly, let alone names

First half and start of second was Kelvin Ehibhationham, he was replaced by Jahmari Clarke.

Just as well you didn't throw the lines in
"None of them received a heroes welcome" or the quote "I didn't really know what was going on".

Judging by the result both quotes would have been cruelly appropriate.
