Pepe the Horseman Is Ashcroft a midfielder rather than a defender? Assumed he was in at RB.

Didn’t he play as a central defender in his earlier appearance, or was it CDM?

Dunno, never heard of him.

Thought he played RW last time, but I missed quite a lot of the game iirc.

5-4-1 today; I think

It’s park the bus and score from a set piece or from a Halilovic ‘Hoddle’ pass for us today…

As usual we struggle to get out from an organised high press.

Tyrell Ashcroft is listed as a defender on the OS. His one previous app was at Millwall. He is 17.

And that’s different from a standard Reading performance?

Tim Dellor with his most recognisable catchphrase, "Liam Moore has been caught"

This hasn't sounded very promising at all simply listening to the game.

Asking an awful lot of Ashcroft to deal with and make something from these huge crossfield pings

This is proper suicidal defending here. Moore and Holmes dead level for horrific defender of the day.

Another one setting Ashcroft up to fail. Way to ease the kid in and make him feel at home Hal.
