Mr Angry Am I the only person pleased that Posh went through?

It gives them another game to reschedule, and with the 5th round game to be played in early March, it means their focus won't be 100% on survival between now and then; that has to be a good thing for us, especially as we play them in a coupld of weeks (they have 2 games a week for the whole of February incidentally.......)

I don't think the argument washes that if a team has more games to play, the players get tired and they are less likely to get points.

My view is that if you win games (and yesterday may have been a confidence booster for Posh) it is a good habit and of course players like to play.
Also they made a few signings in the window , at least 2 of whom played yesterday, so who knows how much they might actually gain from winning yesterday.

Incidentally let's not build up the Posh game as some sort of relegation decider-whoever wins that game could still lose every other game this season-it is just as important that we pick up points from most of the games to be played and not just focus on those thought to be winnable..

Pepe the Horseman Surely Barnsley are beyond saving.

They're 8 points behind safety. 2 wins in quick succession while the rest of us struggle puts them right back in it.

They're only 1 point further back than Derby. Who many people expect to overtake us. Yeah, their form is far worse but it wouldn't be the first time a team at the bottom went on a run.

In any case they don't have to be saveable to finish above us.

Middlesbrough must have one hell of a first choice right back up there to let Spence go out on loan to forest.

Yeah I get it but I am with Mr Angry that it’s good news. The players might pull out of 50/50s to avoid potential injury not wanting to miss playing in the City game and the shop window that provides. And there is the very possible scenario where City’s reserves could tear them a new arsehole and give their confidence a right kicking.

Bournemouth on the verge of being knocked out by Boreham Wood, is that more embarrassing than us considering the budget and players available to them?

And FT, Bournemouth 0-1 Boreham Wood

Yes it is I reckon. I know they are one tier higher than Kiddy, but they are a tiny club punching above their weight on gates of 900 a game, compared to Wrexham who are pulling in 8k.

Plus they have part time players too, I'm sure I read somewhere Kiddy are FT.

Enjoyed that game, Boreham Wood looked absolutely shattered at the end. Thought Cantwell looked handy and might be key to any chance Bournemouth have of going up. Really hope they don't.

Lolz thinking back at them all loving Parker and thinking they were going to get the points record

I would say it was worse than our result, yes. Also it being at home.

Yep, and they put out a much stronger team, with some real quality coming off the bench.

Am loving the Bournemouth pile-on-not sure if it is any more embarrassing than our result at Kidderminster though as Boreham Wood are right up there challenging for a place in the Football League and have only lost 2(?) games all season.

The Bournemouth situation is interesting-they will be slaughtered under FFP if they don't go up but their depth of squad is probably the best in the division and I don't see any other real challengers for the 2nd spot.
Fair play to QPR if they do it and the runs by Sheff Utd and Forest could well take them into the top 6 but unlikely to make 2nd IMHO.

Blackburn and Huddersfield likewise may not quite have enough to get better than top 6.

We can of course affect the higher reaches of the table in March when we play Forest, Bournemouth and Blackburn.
