Would you take a further 3-6 point deduction for a decent manager change?

A seemingly odd question but I believe someone like Warnock + decent coaches would have comfortably achieved >6 points from this squad in the last 7 games, even with the injuries so with the benefit of hindsight if FFP is the only reason we can't employ new people it would have be a decent decision.

Will we be having the same regrets 7 games from now when it's too late? Who would take a further 3 (could only be 3 as the talk was 9 but we only got 6) or 6 point deduction to make a change now?

Six points are suspended and will be applied should we fail to comply with the EFL's business plan that was agreed between the two parties.

Honestly, yes I probably would. If the 6 points were taken off now, we'd be 4 points behind Peterborough having playing them on Wednesday.

There is more than enough in this squad to overhaul a further 6 point deficit on those around us, especially considering how bad Peterborough and Barnsley are.

I just cannot see the logic behind keeping Pauno at the club any longer really.

Hypothetically, yes in a heart beat.

This team has quality it’s so obvious to see, it’s what makes it even more frustrating and infuriating we are where we are. Any decent manager could get this team flying up the table.

Plus the alternative is literal relegation so it’s a no brainier.

Firstly, sacking Paunovic would not require a points deduction.

Secondly, if our suspended 6 points are applied, it's because we've breached our agreement, in which case we've probably breached FFP again, and we potentially get punished again, so not 3-6 but 6-18.

Not that it matters, because there's nothing stopping the owner sacking Paunovic but stubborn shit for brains.

Which is why say "employ new people". Forget what happens to Pauno et al. To get a decent team in requires employing new people. Would that not push us towards breaches and further deductions?

If so and if you're right about it being up to 18 points then that's the answer unfortunately. Can't get new blood in as we'll then get 18 points. However I am not sure I believe this is true. I don't know the ins and outs but I'd have thought if 3 points are suspended clearly something might trigger that and it's not a case of a closed deal and anything new being a new 6-18. And a couple of coaches and a manager for 4 months might just be that trigger. Won't cost a huge amount of money at all. Don't know, just speculating.
