windermereROYAL Barnsley v Posh Monday., draw please.

Hmmm, yes suppose so.

Actually, anything but a Barnsley win
Still a little concerned with the Barnsley run in which only has Huddersfield away as a major obstacle. The rest look winnable (even if they won’t)

If we win Monday it won`t matter what they do.

Not officially unless they lose.

If the owners had any doubts about Ince before today then those doubts were just extinguished. The job will be his if he wants it.

Really good result and performance against a side who we've had a lot of difficulties against in recent years as well. Another good performance, all ifs and buts, however, I just wish even a draw last week and the extra 2 points we should have had at Barnsley were there now. Not that I think it will matter in regards to the outcome of the season but...

Anyway, we could still finish 18th at this rate...

Not all 3 teams can go down on Monday, only 2 maximum, because Peterborough play Barnsley and at least 1 of them will be taking points from that game. I'd like a draw though.

Well ince is coming out of this very well, and we look a different side with him

Reflects very very poorly on Pauno

Another win in the ‘when Ovie starts’ record which makes me chuckle. If only he’d been fit all season…

Yes valid point about Ovie. He has to keep his place in the side now. I wouldn’t make any changes for Monday where we could have one hell of a bench.

It does reflect poorly on Pauno too.

Still in disbelief that Paunovic was given so long - squad was far too good to be where they were

Said for a few months now that McIntyre has the makings of a very good midfielder - obviously only one game but he was terrific today - both him and DD (although he tired) controlled the midfield

obviously…but didn’t Paunos last two games (and with an actual squad to choose from) bag us 4 points?

I’m glad they did.

Yep McIntyre had a good game

Nice to hear the fans chanting Drinkwaters name a number of times. He played well

Drinkwater has improved an awful lot since Ince arrived. Would be happy to sign him up on reasonable wages.
Holmes has really got his act together too and has been great in recent weeks.

In Pauno’s defence he hardly had Joao to call upon this season. His return to the side has been huge. That was his 8th goal this season. He must be averaging a goal every other game this term.

Ejaria looked like a different player today, so it seems reasonable to suggest that Ince has told him he needs to be different.

Had a very solid game.

DD MOTM again. Ince has sorted him out as well.

When he arrived it was about nothing more than survival, whatever it took. Although old (bad) habits have certainly reared their heads at times, to have sorted out so much shite in the way we played, and then had obvious impact on individuals, is a real credit to him and Rae.

8 in 17 (3) So very close to. Not just this season. His record for Reading is 64 (14) - 33

He's too good to stay with us much longer unless we improve a lot. Even then...

Ejaria was superb today. Watched him closely due largely to the chat on here

He is so disciplined- gets back in defensive position so quickly. And then today some really good quick passes in to the forwards (the assist on Joao’s post hit, the ball to Laurent on the first goal)

Haven’t seen some of his poorer performances but play like that and he is a massive asset

Their equaliser was a travesty , we should have been 2 or 3 ahead by then. A draw on this performance was a bad result

So good to respond immediately and score. TMac already a legend.
