Winston Biscuit The stadium is also sat between some mountains and the seaside, which I am a fan of. There is something about a southern European stadium build without a roof that just looks so appealing.

Love stadiums like that. They always look like they could collapse at any moment, there is an element of danger when you watch a game there. In for a HNA trip funded by Pepe and his Yankee dollar money.

We can go for my leaving do.

IN.

We can get T-shirts made and everything.

"HNA's Horsemen Italian tour"

We can go and watch matches in a selection of Italy's most dangerous looking stadiums, drink Birra Moretti. It will be fun.

Roma messing up in the league last night.

At the start of the season I read that Mourinho would be judged on getting them back into the Europa League in his first season and finishing above Lazio. A win against Fiorentina last night would have taken them level with Lazio, who are in 5th, and with the easier 2 fixtures left to play

They lost, meaning Fiorentina are now level with Roma & Atalanta all on 59 points. Roma have picked up just 2 points from their last 4 games

Conference League Final could be huge for Mourinho

final day of Serie A should be a cracker with the title, european qualification and relegation likely to all still need resolving

Winston Biscuit Various cclaims that Dortmund are willing to sell Youssoufa Moukoko this summer

He's the 17 year old with a crazy goalscoring record in their youth teams. The same stories of him being older than he says he is have also surfaced again.

This seems to be becoming an unfortunate meme that follows any young black footballer of African heritage.

Moukoko has had a tough year or so - a couple of injuries, but the player and his management feel that he should be getting more time on the pitch. Seems an odd time to agitate for a move with Haaland on his way, and Dortmund's reputation for letting young players develop in the first-team.

It does happen a hell of a lot though, not so much at the high profile clubs though who have proper vetting processes.

There was a story about a 18 year old from Lazio and people claimed he was 40

don't believe so

Wiki:
"the fourth largest football stadium in Italy after Milan's San Siro, Rome's Stadio Olimpico, and Naples's Stadio San Paolo; as well as the second largest to be used by only one team"

What a huge waste of money. I will just assume it was some sort of tax dodge.

All I think of seeing that logo is that I'd quite like some fried chicken.

French Ligue 2. Final games of the season tomorrow

Toulouse are champions.
2nd place to be taken by either Ajaccio who are on 72 points or Auxerre who are 1 point behind them

Ajaccio are playing Toulouse :o
Auxerre are playing lowly, on the beach already, haven't won in a while, Amiens

all set up for a #scenes final day whichever way it goes I guess

would be the first time in 11 years Auxerre were in the top division if they manage to grab 2nd place

Final day of the German 2nd division on Sunday. Shalke are already up. Next 3 teams can all still grab the final automatic spot. Werder Bremen could also still overtake Shalke to be champions

1. Shalke..............62.......+27
2. Werder............60.......+20
3. Hamburg.........57........+31
4. Darmstadt.......57.......+22

Shalke away to 7th place
Werder home to 13th place
Hamburgh away to 12th place
Darmstadt home to 6th place

Noticed that Real Sociedad in 6th place in La Liga have scored just 37 goals this season. Only 5 teams have scored fewer

Then I noticed bottom club Levante. They have let in 73 goals which is the most conceded, but they have scored the 8th most goals. they sound fun. The Middlebrough 97 of Spain!

It was rebuilt for Italia 90. Bari had a half decent side in the early 90s. IIRC, David Platt moved there from Villa after the World Cup.
