AthleticoSpizz No real thread for this….but so what?

A very lazy eye being cast over the Jocko Cup tonight

Sixth tier Darvel leading Premier Aberdeen 1-0 as they are approaching half time.

Which has now been declared as the greatest shock in Scottish Cup history - some statement that.

And that's how it stayed.

Equivalent of a National League South side knocking out a mid-table Prem team.

Not downplaying it, bit Aberdeen had a goal disallowed because of offside

It is genuinly one of the absolute worst decisions ever made, maybe the linesman and refs were paid off by Darvel?

They didn't have a goal ruled out for offside as the whistle went before the cross went in for him to tap in. Didn't look offside but no decent camera angle to confirm one way or other really.

So they did have a goal disallowed because he would have scored if the whistle didn't go

Thanks for confirming what I said and agreeing

Not even close to being one of the worst decisions, in real time it would of been a tight call.

A goal scored after the whistle has gone is not disallowed. The whistle went when the ball was with the guy wide on the box, he then passed it across as the defenders were already stopping playing (due to the whistle going/flag up) and the Aberdeen guy stuck it in, as you do. Could likely have been different if the whistle hadn't gone.

So no, it wasn't disallowed as play was already dead before he scored.

THE WHISTLE WENT AS SOON AS HE CROSSED IT

HE WOULD HAVE STILL SCORED

Super Darvel were terrific
Aberdeen were atrocious.

Nearly works...

Outside chance that Orient could blow this in spectacular fashion. They had a 16 point lead on the play offs a few weeks ago.

They lost again today and have taken 6 points from the last possible 21. They are now 9 points ahead of the play offs having played a game more than everyone else

And I thought they had an outside chance of challenging 106

It looks as though it took away all their strength today.

Duncan 'Big Dunc' Ferguson's first game in management. FG went a goal up early on and held on until they conceded in the 94th minute and 98th minute

For petty reasons I do not like Brighton, but pleased they beat Liverpool today. Looks like they are back to winning no trophies again.

People say the magic of the FA Cup has been lost but someone has taken a foil FA Cup to the Wrexham match with a "Fvck the Tories" sign stuck on it. Lovely stuff.

Yeh saw that too
Good idea as the cameras love a tin foil covered FA Cup. They focused in on it only to realise too late that the message was all too clear :D

And Wrexham playing some really decent stuff btw. Been the better team and unlucky to be 2 2.
