Allardice is their only change of staying up I'd have thought.

To be fair, at least he didn’t repeat himself … exactly

For about the 10th time  .
He might well give them a boost though,so not a bad appointment for them IMHO.

He had a 40% win rate when there before which I guess they would be happy with..

brighton are the smartest club out there. instead of picking failing up managers over and over again they researched who would be the best and got him. i guess southampton attempted that but failed cos he just seems like an arrogant nobody.

I predict he'll do a decent enough job to earn himself a 2yr contract followed by him absolutely phoning it in at the start of next season so he gets the sack by November. Hefty payoff to top up the pension pot, job done until the next time one of his previous clubs is in danger of relegation.

I predict we'll lose tomorrow night and Twitter will be exploding with "we could have had Warnock" posts.

Looks like Marsch had agreed to take over at Southampton. Southampton play Leeds away a week on Saturday. Wonder if Leeds will have found anyone to succeed him by then.

They won't do it, but imagine if Leeds appointed Nathan Jones before that one!

Just WTAF! Football gets more and more ridiculous on a day-by-day basis.

Club desperate to try and stay up will hire man fired by rivals for looking set to take them down.

Did the Soton board really look at the Dean Smith move to Norwich last year and think, oh we'll have a bit of that action.

Reckon they're bluffing so Lampard and Gerrard reduce their wage demands.

Lampard and Gerrard should be joint managers just to rekindle the age old can they work together debate.

Ruben Baraja takes over at Valencia!

Very much going down that classic route of bringing in a club legend as manager who's record nowhere near qualifies him for the job but his status as a former great on the pitch means the fans are appeased for a while.

fans would be rioting if they had just brought in some random manager who had been sacked for taking Zaragoza near to the bottom of the Segunda

Rumours that ‘arry might be getting the Leeds job, his first return to management since leaving Brum 5 years ago.
