Summer 2023 Transfer Speculation

Maybe my memory is fading but I thought we got our best results last season with Fornah playing and then they dropped off when he was dropped/injured. So I'd take him back.

I can't see us spending over £500k this summer at best. Amos and Fornah would probably do well at this level to be fair, providing both can keep fit and be consistent but they should stand a much better chance here than anywhere else.

Assuming the 3 midfielders we have been linked with come off, the position looks far healthier then. You could maybe argue one more in that slot as well which would give us enough then.

Really want a pacey central defender/DM in, preferably one that's not used to losing week in and week out.

A pacey AM/striker would be good too but certainly need a load of creativity as sick of watching game after game after game where even an attempt on goal is a rarity.

Be delighted if Mbengue stays. I know he played CB last year, but hasn't he spent most of his career in CM? An area we need bodies
