Any news on Ejaria not seen anything recently would be great in division 1

I believe he had knee surgery towards the end of last season, no idea what type of knee surgery, but can't imagine he'll be available for a while.

Amidst all the chaos I'd forgotten he was still with us. He'll be great in L1. Awesome.

He'll just get no protection, bullied and sit on the floor sulking.

I’d like him to do well in League One if he stays but fully expect him to be mostly poor apart from a flash of genius in one or two games.

It would be better if we could get him off the wage bill and maybe a small fee.

Not holding out too much hope because he struggled with the more physical nature of the SPL

He's finished with us. Why would any fans still back him? He needs to go and I'd take £100k for him

And, of course, he's shown so much physical presence since.....

Don't think any of our players will do well in league one except Azeez.

If he plays in L1 (and does so with an Andy Carroll mindset rather than a Lucas Joao one) he will be like a cheat code.

And people want to see the back of him? :|

His career is washing down the drain.

Next season (if applicable, and still here) could be one of his last opportunities to resurrect it before non-league beckons?

However, there lies the problem, its his mindset!!! he's had one good season out of five. if he gets his head in the right place i agree, he should be a game changer!! However, how long do you wait and give him to see if he can regain the Ejaria of old whilst paying his over inflated wages that we as a club cannot afford at present.

Let’s face it, if Ejaria WAS a complete package then we wouldn’t even be talking about him. His shortcomings are the only reason we were able to sign him in the first place.

from Liverpool, tough crowd to play for.

As previous, next season is make or break for his career.

Obviously that’s a (largely) fair point. (1 in 5 I don’t agree with.)

But he puts in a lot of yards (largely unnoticed) and can do stuff that creates a bit of joy.

Tom Ince apart there have been very few moments from anyone else in these last few years to lift the spirits in the way that Ejaria has.

Even a 75% functioning Ejaria would have been better than the likes of Hendrick imo.

But he’s got to find something within him to lift his game. Maybe Selles is the man to unlock the talent we all know is there.

But no, I won’t be holding my breath.

I think a high pressing game (if that is selles’ game) would suit Ejaria, decent in the tackle and mostly skilful against isolated defenders (until he turns back into more players and then falls over his own feet) he could do well.

Can't quite get my head around how you had the knives out for Joao for being a massive sulker, but love Ejaria when he's an even worse one. At least Joao scored goals.

High press tends to mean high tempo. Ejaria plays the game at the pace of a teenage shuffle
