Axel Disasi to Chelsea for €45m, signed from Monaco - 25 year old centre-back who made his debut for France last year. More cover I guess - joins Silva, Fofana, Badiashile in the squad. Cucurella and Chalobah can play there too.

I am completely lost on who plays for Chelsea these days. I reckon they could put out a starting XI from their squad and I might not really know any of them

Pepe the Horseman
genome Daniel Levy has opened the coke and Spurs are now on the verge of signing Van de Ven, Tapsoba, Phillips, and Veliz

Either that or Spurs are suddenly anticipating an influx of money...

Any of these any good?

Van de Ven was excellent for Wolfsburg in the games I saw last season.

Various sources reporting that Bayern have made a bid for Kane that they have informed Spurs is final, said to be in the region of €100m +€20m in add-ons. Also that Bayern are expecting a response from Spurs today.

FSG hacking off a lot of the Liverpool support again. Promised a big summer transfer window Liverpool have managed just two signings and as usual are piddling about arguing over effectively what mounts to pennies on other targets instead of getting things done so Klopp has time to work with the new guys. Meanwhile they've collected £60m+ in players leaving and struck loads off the wage bill but the penny pinching goes on. Expect another season of "not quite" in L4 this season.

Can see Klopp naffing off and taking the German job once Hansi gets the Flick.

It's bizarre. They've cut an absolute fcukload off the wage bill and out of the squad - Ox, Keita, Fabinho, Henderson, Firmino, Milner all gone, and Carvalho on loan at Leipzig for the season. The two midfield signings they have made look top quality, but now bickering with Southampton on the Lavia fee - the Saints want £50m, Liverpool stuck at £42m. Klopp must be tearing his hair out.

Fabrizio says Raya to Arsenal will happen in the next 48 hours. Still a bizarre transfer imho. Backup keeper Matt Turner to join Forest.

Franck Kessie the next to join the Saudi Pro League. Also Piotr Zielinski of Napoli, another player moving in his prime, has been a key part of their midfield for years.

Still 24 days to go .
I expect another defender and midfielder to join before the end of the month and with such attacking prowess (Salah, Diaz, Nunez, Jota and Gapko with McAllister in advanced midfield) to be the closest challengers to City.

Liverpool are going to have such a poor season. Good to see their supporters being as deluded as ever though.

Which includes games against Chelsea and Newcastle. Yes Liverpool may well still get Lavia and 1 or 2 others but no way Klopp will be happy to be leaving key deals until after the season has started.

Perhaps you might define "a poor season" and we can come back to your bold prediction next May.

Is any manager really happy about not getting ALL of their desired targets?
How must the Spurs manager and West Ham manager feel about how things are panning out?
Likewise are Bayern Munich deliriously happy about the uncertainty over Herr Kane?

I don't gamble with money anymore, kicked the habit.

I will wager a tin of biscuits of your choice/my choice though.

Not worth it for me so will put my money where my mouth is with the bookies although unfortunately they will give me worse odds than even money as they have more faith in the Super Reds than you do.
