Brogue Although he no longer plays for Reading, Andre burley who now plays for Oxford city scored for St kitts last week. he is only the 8th ever Reading FC academy graduate to score a goal for an international team

I know football only started in 1992 but it should also be noted that Neil Webb scored 4 goals for England.

But if we are going before academies were a thing You could probably throw ady Williams on the list also

Academy is just a new name and structure for a youth team. Clubs have had youth teams for ages.

Yes I know but what about Reading?. How long have Reading had a youth team? What did we have before the Academy was set up? Did Reading have a youth team in the 80’s/early 90’s ?… Genuine question I don’t know
