Crowbar6753
windermereROYAL Yids out for at least 3 more months.

That's a real kick in the teeth, Yids must be close to getting put out to pasture!! almost time to move on and give Abrefa a chance to shine in his natural position......however, i suspect he's going to have to fill the LB void until Dorsett is back to full fitness.

How long is Carson out for again?

Not sure- ask Grimsby :D

Dorsett out for four to six weeks.

Yiadom likely not back until the New Year. (Already covered above)

Pereira missing until a week or two after the international break. (Late October)

Should be more than OK covering RB with Yiadom out given that the "senior" outfield defenders at the club are

Abrefa (RB)
Garcia (RB)
Bindon (CB)
Mbengue (CB)
Osho (RB)
Dorsett (CB)
Kanu (CB)
Dean (CB)
Rushesha (RB)
Yiadom (RB) (now out until mid January)

Think John Ryan is the only actual LB at the club and he's injured.

On top of that there's Michael Craig (MF) who's actaully been used as the main right back so far despite the other options

It was a serious one- next season as a guesstimate.

Think Garcia is more of a left back than a right back?

Rushesha is in the same boat as Michael Craig, midfielder who has filled in at right back due to abundance of midfield options.

You've also missed John Clarke, left back.

Garcia is more a LB imo.

Rushesha is more a RB than Craig as he has history there at Swansea.

Is John Clarke ever not injured?

John Clarke and Mamadi Camara both offer glimpses that they can be of use to the team and then disappear for 6 months. Anyone know any updates on them? Surely it's time to call it a day, they've been doing this for years now?

I believe Clarke has an ACL injury so season ending.

Camara I think initially was 3/4 weeks, guessing after the international break, but not heard an update recently.

Would be nice if someone at the club actually did an interview with Noel Hunt
and asked him about injuries in the U 21 squad- Charlie Wellens is another who seems to have disappeared.

I don’t think Camara has a particularly bad injury record. I think Selles really didn’t think he was ready last season and he's come on a lot since.

Clarke does seem like he won't be getting another renewal. He arrived with Craig and looked just as promising, but has been crippled by injuries and the paths of the two have gone in opposite directions.

Didn't Camara go missing from the u21s for months too? Suggests there must have been some kind of issue. I suspect his current injury is part of the reason we signed Campbell.

Azeez leaving will be a much bigger factor

RoyallyFcuked Shame for Pereira and for us as he's been looking good. Hopefully he doesn't miss many games. Hope CBC plays instead of Button as well. In fact I'd play Bouzanis or Andresson over Button given the choice.

I think I'd rather go in goal myself rather than Bouzanis.....is he still here? Assumed he'd gone on loan somewhere

Bouzanis is on loan at Stevenage and has been on the bench for them. Andresson is at an Icelandic second division club on loan.

Yep I knew they were both out on loan, was a bit of tongue in cheek really as I don't rate Button. Having seen him make several errors last season I just see him as a bit of a liability.

I was thinking I'd rather we played CBC at least as he's young and will improve, I know he made that mistake vs Orient but he's inexperienced and still learning whereas Button is very experienced but still prone to errors. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on Button though, he's done alright since he's been back in.

Bouzanis seems to be pretty unpopular with our fans, obviously he's only played a handful of games for us but can't remember him doing much wrong, unless I'm forgetting something?

I think Button has been excellent since his return and not at fault for all the goals shipped at Bolton.

Jeriel Dorsett, Mamadi Camara and Joel Pereira won't be recovered for this weekend likely not available for Tuesday.

Is anyone truly surprised given the track record of our medical department. I'd be surprised if they're back until after the next international break.

Last season was an improvement. Camara has a terrible injury record, and for the other two these things happen. We don't have a squad of old players and crocks any more.
