Season Tickets 25/26

by RG30 » 17 Mar 2025 09:42

With the season nearing it's conclusion, it's inevitable we will get some form of announcement fairly soon on renewal information and pricing. Will you renew regardless or wait and see if any new takeover is finally completed.

We have also seen the impact of the new TV deal with 5 matches moved to an early Saturday KO slot and would have been 6 had Wrexham not got rearranged for the FA Cup which I imagine will be in the thoughts of quite a few fans as well.

Even though I dont really care for the travel to games any more now I can watch them all online, Id be tempted to get one, providing Dai is gone.

Yeah, will probably get one. I've not been to many games this season with the family growing, but hopefully I should be able to get to more next year.

If the takeover happens I will, otherwise I don't think I can put myself through the mess of what next season will be.

Will renew, and then miss enough games next season to totally remove the financial incentive.

But I reckon I'd make 4 games a season without one.

A mix of both of the above apply to where I am on this at the moment!

Can't see there being a price increase. Or certainly not a significant one - maybe £25 or something.

New ownership may reduce the ST price to entice a few more fans to come back.

I guess they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. They need the money but season ticket holders who have stuck with the club through the past 3+ years of misery may feel hard done by if they're asked to fork out more for their ticket next season.

Hopefully they'll continue Dai's excellent policy of not rinsing the fans

I said about 10 times during the season that this is my last time with a season ticket (after about 15 consequetive years of having two in our household).

However, with the way the season ended - the take over, the results, the club really feeling like it did years ago - I'll definitely be renewing. It's the most excited I've been in nearly 10 years.

I do love this team so really leaning toward renewal but finding money a lot more difficult lately so pricing may end up proving a factor.

Thinking of getting one for the first time since Covid to support the club. Not that I want or intend to schlep to Reading regularly. But knowing I can just hop on a train and not have to worry about sorting a ticket any time I fancy a game in person is useful.

And it'll prompt me to visit my Mum more often, which will make her happy.

Do it.. I got one living in Bristol and although it didn't work out financially and sometimes it's a oxf*rd slog, it made me go to games i wouldn't have even considered, and means i see my parents at least a couple times a month..
