Maybe stabilising the situation and paying people on time would be a good start

And with only 5 or 6 players definitely confirmed, it will take a sizeable effort to replicate 2024/25

The straw I am clinging onto is the EFL giving extensions; I would imagine that if there wasn't a realistic chance of the deal happening, they would act to expel us. So the fact they haven't done that implies they have been given cast iron assurances from both Parties.
