I got his name The Bundesliga 2 player is Daniel Kyerewaa

This is done, except for visa and international clearance which can take up to 2 weeks apparently.

Then there’ll be the month or so waiting for FL approval.

How does the qualification for a work permit work these days ?
He doesn’t appear to have played any top level games or had any international call ups. What about him woukd make him eligible for a work permit ?

He has Ghanaian heritage so it’ll probably be that that gets him through

Clubs are allowed 3 players who would not ordinarily meet work permit criteria, it was how we signed Bindon. I presume it will be the same for this guy

Although Bindon was already a youth international and came from a higher rated club so may have qualified anyway ? He was also already resident in the country.
I’m just interested in how the process works !

Being from a third country which would also require a work permit ?

This article is a good explainer which gives Bindon a mention.

So, should the paperwork ever be approved by the authorities, we should see the following officially added to the squad rota for the forthcoming season…

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan - AM (perm)
Daniel Kyerewaa - AM (perm)
Josh Bowler - AM (perm)
Kamari Doyle - AM (loan)

anyone noticing the position where the club think the squad might have a weakness?

Also Andy Morell - DM - remains on trial with the team so maybe a 5th signing there.

Has Amankwah been released? Guess we’ll know if Triallist A doesn’t appear later today.

Looking forward to Rob’s parachuting attempt.
