Bowler looks a reassuring 'yeah, that should work' signing - player with some reputation in the level above but available for one reason or another.

Stranded
linkenholtroyal Tom McIntyre been told he can find a new club, maybe this is who we are now looking at?

I get Tom came through the club and is a fan but we need to move on.

If he could ever show signs of staying fit I'd be happy with it. But eith what we've got some pace would be nice and that's not Tom.

I feel the ship has sailed

What's the latest with Trialist A (Yeboah Amankwah) and Trialist B (Joe Morrell) and any other trialists we've entertained this season so far?

I know it’s don’t go back but as a third choice centre back / 2nd choice left back / 2nd defensive midfield option. He would offer a lot in versatility. I would prefer him over Holmes or Abbey for this reason.

He can't cover much from the treatment room now can he.

Yeh I was one of his biggest fans when he was here, but absolutely do not want either of the Toms back.

Anyone ITK about the Morell and/or Amankwah situations? Have they been binned or are the club negotiating?

I asked similar a couple of days ago but didn't get a reply so guess nobody on here knows.

There's been no mention of them recently on Twitter and I don't think they played against Slough. They didn't feature v Spurs either but I thought somebody said Morrell went on the trip to Ireland.

I think Liam Fraser who has been recently linked plays the same position as Morrell. Would Morrell pass a medical and/or be will to take any offer Reading is likely to produce?

On the flip side I don't think either has been linked with other teams...

Fraser confirmed! I'd say that's defence and midfield sorted. Get Bowler and Kelvin done and we're fine. Maybe an extra loan or two around deadline day, but we can manage a month.
