Interesting that we have had radio silence from Barnum & Bailey since the transfer window shut.
No doubt recharging for the half season ticket sales in December.

What do you want hear from them? It's an international window, the club released a video about the transfer window featuring Noel and JJ. Sure, they could post on social media about toilet renovations, but it's not exactly great content.

Do they like marmite?
Who’s the longest in the shower?
Who is the other new investor?
Do they consider a Jaffa cake to be a cake or a biscuit?
Do they think we have a very competitive squad for League One?
Are they happy with our start to the season?

Thought they might want to explain the next steps as the window didn't live up the the expectations they set.
Looks like they left and inexperienced manager and apprentice CEO holding the baby, whilst they suddenly went from visible to inconspicuous
Personally I thought the video was a car crash and thought they may want to offer some explanations. They seem to want to be transparent about every other issue and I personally thought this was a pretty vital part of the rebuild process that has not gone well.

Going to have to watch this video. Do they mention constraints a lot?

Wasn't a new investor meant to have been announced a couple of weeks ago?

Perhaps they're waiting to see how the new players actually do and what results are like after the window closed, before they try to evaluate how it went.

Or should they judge it based purely on how much twitter wets itself?

We’re three short of the 25-man squad that in hindsight, seemed the target, which suggests poor planning. The players brought in still need to be judged, but early signs on the pitch haven’t inspired. I’m not interested in Twitter noise, my view is based on the owners’ words and actions and it feels like they’ve miscalculated the window and left NH and JJ exposed and in the case of the video thrown under a big yellow bus.

I understood the organogram as:

Couhig is chairman and CEO and JJ is co-CEO.

Think it was in a RC interview, but not very clear to be fair...

Ok, that means Jacobson is co chairman then.

I guess that it works with a clear division of responsibilities then. Jacobson is responsible for sporting affairs and Couhig handles the money and business decisions. While obviously still sitting in the bigger chair. Making Jacobson JEO, junior executive officer.

Couhig and Joe are the co-CEOs. This was decided on so that there is authority to make decisions when Rob is out of the country.

Ok, makes sense.

In the 19th century.

 Yes I’m sure Rob and his family would love to be woken up in the middle of the night (or have vacation disturbed) because there’s nobody over here with the authority to make policy decisions or sign something in urgent negotiations.

Just to clarify what expectations did they really set?

Remembering that the words that everyone loves to misquote are that the window had "the potential to be spectacular" not that it would be.

I wish they had used slightly different wording there as everyone remembers the last word but not the context but hey ho.

Pereira, Stevens, Rowley
Yiadom, Abrefa, Ahmed
Jacob, Dorsett, Ryan
O'Connor, Burns
Williams, Stickland
Wing, Fraser
Savage,
Elliott, Doyle
Lane, Kyerewaa, Ritchie
Ehibhatiomhan, Camara, Garcia
Marriott, O'Mahoney

That's 26 man senior squad!

With only the third choice goalie and a left back from the Academy who hadn’t made their debuts. Ryan because he spent all last season injured.

And not including Sackey or Osho, who both played last season.

Or Spencer, Borgnis, Barough etc who are all at the stage they should be transitioning across from youth football.

And we've still got Ferguson proving fitness we could sign in a week.

We have a big squad.

He's buying into the fact we have 3 slots available to register players over the age of 21 as not having a full squad. We have room to add if we wish i.e. Ferguson and/or a striker but to say we don't have a full squad is pushing it.

Yeah I’d even argue our squad is too big - blocking the path for some of the academy lads imo

Ian’s missed a couple as well - Rushesha and Okine Peters

I’d have preferred to have let Tiv and JOP go (though can understand why Tiv was signed at the time) and let Spencer/Sackey/Borgnis come through
