Sanguine
Winston Biscuit 16th manager in 6 1/2 years

Javier Gracia Present
Paulo Pezzolano 13 May, 2025 - 08 Oct, 2025
Tom Cleverley 09 Mar, 2024 - 06 May, 2025
Valerien Ismael 10 May, 2023 09 Mar, 2024
Chris Wilder 07 Mar, 2023 09 May, 2023
Slaven Bilic 26 Sep, 2022 07 Mar, 2023
Rob Edwards 01 Jul, 2022 26 Sep, 2022
Roy Hodgson 25 Jan, 2022 30 May, 2022
Claudio Ranieri 04 Oct, 2021 24 Jan, 2022
Xisco Munoz 21 Dec, 2020 03 Oct, 2021
Vladimir Ivic 15 Aug, 2020 21 Dec, 2020
Hayden Mullins 19 Jul, 2020 15 Aug, 2020
Nigel Pearson 06 Dec, 2019 19 Jul, 2020
Hayden Mullins 02 Dec, 2019 06 Dec, 2019
Enrique Sanchez Flores 07 Sep, 2019 01 Dec, 2019
Javier Gracia 21 Jan, 2018 07 Sep, 2019

Cleverley the only manager since Gracia to make it to 50 games in charge. No manager has reached 100 games at the helm for Watford since Aidy Boothroyd in 2008.

Absolute madness.

The team that he would inherit is nearly as poor as the one he had to deal with in the lower divisions last time around.
It sounds as though there is a bit more money about the place now so he might be able in time to buy in some better quality players with , at the moment, only Raskin and Tavenier that look up to the standard required.

A big job for anybody .

I'm going to start a narrative that the more Slot coaches, the worse they get!

Also going to add another £100M+ on how much was spent every time I mention it.

Yes, if you spend £500M you'd expect him to do better

This topic has been all about those that have been sacked, are about to be sacked or are getting a new job.
I'm not sure where your bit fits.

Can we assume that net spend of £170m for 10th is better than net spend of £230m for (currently) 2nd ?

Can we also assume that this is a desperate attempt to take your mind off the coaching prowess of the current United manager ?

Slot's team reminds me somewhat of Ten Hag's at Utd i.e. a huge gaping hole in the midfield (polo fc) waiting to get countered.

I also know the game, hence talking shit during an international break, knowing full well we could get battered at Anfield

A club entirely built around the new manager bounce and players upping their game to impress the new guy.

Everything wrong with football

If you think it's aimed at you, then ya know...

Maybe you could flesh out your story a bit!

There are a lot of southern LFC fans on here who were maybe at the age you start supporting a team and choose the team who are doing the best because yes, they're glory hunting

I'm from Manchester, moved south when I was about ten.

I rem being really surprised that people didn't support the local team. It was only City/Utd where I was from (7/8ths Utd btw).

where abouts in Manchester?

(heads up - I am going to search for some lower league team that was closer to your home than Old Trafford was, then call you plastic!)

Not sure about the early bit. I was born in Stepping Hill Hospital (which I think is Stockport), and my sister* was born in Salford General.

I do remember living in Salford for a bit and then moving just outside Manchester to Astley (near Eccles)
