Matchday Events

The club's put out a list of matchday events they'll be having this season:
Map out your season with our themed matchdays

Last month's victory over Leyton Orient not only saw the Royals faithful see a third straight home win in league and cup, it also marked the club's Family Day in RG2.

A whole host of off-field activities took place around the stadium both pre and post match, with the clash with the O's marking the first of a number of themed matchdays throughout the 2025/26 season.

Each event will be designed to provide the Royals faithful with an engaging experience off the pitch on their visit to the Select Car Leasing Stadium, with eight more fixtures to come across the coming seven months.

Check out the full calendar of events below, as well as the best of the photos from our Leyton Orient family fiesta!

The list of games is:
  1. Sat 22 Nov - Rotherham - Fireworks Night
  2. Thu 18 Dec - Luton - Christmas
  3. Sat 24 Jan - Barnsley - Louisiana Day
  4. Sat 14 Feb - Wycombe - Valentine's Day
  5. Tue 17 Feb - Bolton - Mardi Gras
  6. Sat 28 Mar - Wigan - 106 Day
  7. Mon 6 Apr - Lincoln - Easter
  8. Sat 2 May - Blackpool - Final Day
People have been complaining on social media about this, obviously, but I like they're trying things to boost crowds. Some will work; others won't.

Louisiana Day?…meh

106 Day could be a decent thing……half-time parade of the squad, but probably won’t amount to much in reality….bring them on as subs in the third minute…..show the kids how it’s done etc etc

Not really my thing, but have no issue with them trying. Do think they should concentrate their energies on pre-match stuff. There was a few people post-match in the Fanzone after Orient, but it looked close to empty after Mansfield. Probably doesn't help that the Renegade (and Heineken) trucks had shut up shop.
