Clyde1998 Disappointing to hear. Hopefully that's only a temporary issue for them.


In the table posted earlier in the thread, they'd only completed 1 League fixture so I suspect it's an ongoing issue.

<EDIT> it's been updated and they've now played 2 but it's still fewer than everyone else.

They have now had 3 matches called off, including 1 match when they were going to use Rivermoor( Reading City) which was a highly suspect unfit pitch.


Surely, other than in the case of confirmed illness hitting the squad in large numbers, you can't have a game postponed simply because you can get enough players together? You could have games postponed all over the place, when teams feel they can't field a strong team, if that is allowed without points being lost.

I seem to remember quite a few games last season when Reading Women were struggling to get a team together and had to play games with no subs and/or a keeper having to play outfield,

Royals have fixed up a friendly on Sunday 19th October at Slough KO 3pm versus Queen Park Rangers Women reserves. Entry is free.
