Rinomhota CONFRIMED

by Snowflake Royal » 12 Nov 2025 17:45

So, the wonderful Academy graduate and Cardiff's Championship player of the season last year at RB is back with us.

Quality player, especially for this level. Not sure exactly where he fits in given he's spent a few years playing RB and we have Yids, Abrefa and Ahmed. And not sure where he fits in midfield with Savage, Wing and Fraser (when fit). He's not going to be playing AM!

Deal to the end of the seaaon though, so longer than Williams.

Him and Williams do feel like good signings for this level and give us some depth. It would point to Fraser being out long term

Wouldn’t expect him to come in ahead of Abrefa or Yiadom but he might. Think he’ll play in a solid 3 man mid with wing and savage

4-1-4-1 with him behind Wing and Savage?

This is a good addition for this level.

Not a championship player but can give the opportunity for Wing and Savage to push forward.

Excellent news!

Really good signing. Could easily sit in front of the back four and let wing and savage go further up. Really pleased he's back, fond memories of that late late goal against Norwich as Carrow Lane.

Likely to be the best Redwood signing so far.

Was thinking about this earlier and came to the same conclusion: 4-1-4-1.

Not as old as I thought he was by now at 28.
It is always a bit worrying when we sign a player who nobody else wants and has been available since May.

If he turns out to be almost as good as when here before that will do for 3rd division football and we all like a trier..

It looks as though the manager had him at Rotherham for a few games so that is the link rather than his Reading past.

Seen someone make a good point. He’s a Zimbabwe international and they’ve qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations - taking place between 21 December and 26 January.

There’s a chance we’ll lose him for a few weeks of that.

Perhaps Fraser will be fit by then?

I think he's a good signing. We know what he's capable of and I think it's a signing that allows other players (Wing, Savage) to play in their more natural position.

Ask Rotherham fans where LR played him when he was there.

Was thinking about this earlier and came to the same conclusion: 4-1-4-1.

.......................Pereira
Abrefa, O'Connor, Williams, Jacob
...................Rinomhota
Lane.......Wing.......Savage..Ehibhatiomhan
.....................Marriott

That midfield's a bit.... lacking flair. Not really going to have anyone beating their man in the middle.

How much have Doyle and Elliott actually created though. On the other hand, without checking, I think Savge and Wing provide plenty of assists. Wingers there should create - can change it up a bit with Ritchie and DK as well

Full backs can get forward and I guess Abrefa and Garcia if left back can beat someone fairly regularly

I think that’d work pretty well

I do wonder if DK is an answer as AM, longer term. His work rate and commitment to trying stuff and closing down is great. Even if its not currently coming off.

Maybe. Though coming in off the left seemed to suit him last game with the LB providing the width
