I knew there used to be a roof over a section of the Town End next to the main stand but that was fairly common knowledge and this is from the other end of the pitch.

A recently uncovered 1909 photograph revealed a long-forgotten “Clock Corner” structure at Elm Park, identifiable by familiar landmarks and a now-mysterious refreshment stand with a clock on top. Historians believe it went unnoticed because match photographers typically stood in front of it, and it disappeared well before 1926.

Looks like Noddy Holder and Jim Lea were responsible for the caption at the bottom of the photo.
