At last a game moves into view and Saturday welcomes the Millers from Rotherham to town for a reunion with their former manager Leam Richardson.
Rotherham, under their novice manager, Matt Hamshaw are actually rather decent at the moment and unlike the underachieving strugglers that they were last season the Millers find themselves doing rather well, albeit stuck in mid table.
Rotherham are actually one of the form teams of the division, if not then possibly the actual form team of the division, with 5 wins and 2 draws from their last 7 league games. The only blemish in that time - as with so many - is being dumped out of the FA Cup at home to lower league opposition. The last league defeat they suffered was at Mansfield at the end of September and though their away form hasn't been the strongest it is improving with 2 wins from their last 2 visits (at Northampton and then at Barnsley).
Therefore this is not going to be easy and will be a very serious test of what Leam's new management skills bring to the table, let's hope we're not all left asking "what the ***** hell have they been doing for the last 2 weeks?" as is all too often the case.
Rotherham's goals have been largely spread around the team but striker Sam Nombe is once again amongst the leads, as is midfielder Denzel Hall so this isn't just going to be a case of having to nullify one threat. Jordan Hugill remains a Miller so is possibly the most high profile player on their books, however the most well known to us fans will be former Biscuitmen Zac Jules and their on loan (but currently injured) centre back Tom Holmes, so maybe that's who needs most careful attention on the day, if either play.
Like Reading, Rotherham have a bit of an injury crisis currently, though it should be noted that it didn't prevent them collecting a point at Kenilworth Road last Saturday so those deputising are proving just as adept as those missing. Apart from the injured Tom Holmes, defenders Jamal Baptiste and Zac Jules are doubtful as is crentre back Lenny Agbaire. However striker Ar’Jany Martha will return to the squad after missing the Luton game due to international duty with Curacao.
Reading are likely to be without; Marriott, Elliott, Burns, Fraser and Jacob while Kyerewaa will serve a one match suspension for reaching five bookings however former Miller, Andy Rinomhota, should be available to make a second debut for the club after rejoining last week.

Reading have a good home record against Rotherham. In the 25 previous league games Rotherham have only won once (3-0 in May 1977) which leaves 17 victories for Reading and 7 draws.
Rotherham have managed just 4 goals in their last 12 visits but those goals were scored in 4 of their last 5 visits.
