Apparently Forest’s first goal was very similar to van Dijk’s disallowed goal last week, if that is the case the calls to have either VAR shut down or the PGMOL disciplined in some way could get loud.

Spurs are awful, but there were three Arsenal players stood offside for that second goal. At least two were blocking the keepers view.

Allowing Eze’s goal to stand after last week was just daft. 2 players in offside positions moving across the ‘keeper’s vision, converging on his exact line of sight to Eze at the moment he shot.

Vicario managed to get a hand to it because it was quite close to him. He would almost certainly have saved it if those players had not obscured his view.

Pretty damning that Amorim’s imagination when needing to score late goals doesn’t seem to extend beyond Harry Maguire.

Has been the case since at least the mid-nineties*.

(*I had thought Le Saux had been sent off that game, but apparently not. Still got a broken hand for trying to give Batty a slap. That said, ref in that game should have sent Le Saux off, by letter of law then.)

In that case should Keane not have been sent off for putting his head into Gueye's face?

I dunno, maybe it's letter of the law crap but from what I saw it wasn't a proper slap, was far from violent conduct, and could / should have just been sorted with a stern warning to grow the fcuk up.

Keane should have been sent off for calling him Gueye.

Football’s moved on mate. Society too.
