First set piece goal Reading have scored from in the league this season.

The last win in the league at Blackpool was 2-0 and Reading got themselves promoted that season (just about!).

A win pushes Reading into the heady heighths of 14th! However Burton play v Orient later so will likely drop back a place.

Bit of a wait for the next installment, Peterborough at home on Tuesday 9th December.

Next away game is at Bradford in 2 weeks so make the most of what we’ve got while it lasts. :?

15 mins plus injury to go.

Someone needs to have a quiet chat with Mr Abrefa about when to shoot, and whether he's Lewis Wing or not.

Well that was comedy... you know you're a relegation side when you allow four shots on goal unchallenged in 10 seconds.

Wouldn't say we've been spectacular today, but in Kyerewaa we've had the outstanding player on the pitch.

Things looking pretty hopeful. After 1 point from our first 4, we've picked up 21 in 13 since. Relegation doesn't look like much concern; we should be looking up and not down. We have Marriot and Ritchie to return soon, plus the January window soon where hopefully Richardson has given a clear wishlist to Carey and Jacobson to strengthen with. And what a player Kyerewaa could be at this level; even if he has the odd stinker, if he does this on a semi regular basis it will make a huge difference.

It still doesn't feel like it's clicked and we're on board the "HMS piss the league", but you can see a path to how it could be a good season.

More than done the job. Defence solid, midfield combative, front 4 working hard and making and scoring chances

Dk looks proper dangerous and taking players on. He looks a different player to what he was at the end under Hunt.

We need a proper target man in January if we want to play as long ball as we have. Kelvin done a decent job but he can’t do that job on his own for the rest of the year

Don’t see that we need that much else tbh.

Good stuff, albeit against a terrible Blackpool.

We've got a solid spine in the GK, CBs, and the central midfielders; they are high quality in this league. If they can all stay fit, we'll concede less moving forward. Looking forward to Rino being integrated more and more situationally depending on the opposition.

The big question mark is the front 4 and the full backs. Today the front 4 delivered - whether they can do that consistently remains to be seen. The full backs did fine today, but it's clearly a highly contested position - who is our best RB/LB? I don't know, and I don't think Leam knows yet either.

COYR.
