That finish will do Keane good. He's struggled this half. Roberts involved with a great cross.

Excellent from Keane (he’s been fine - at least he’s tried to do something)

Assist for Roberts to go with his goal

Brogue lol so undeserved

We're never out of the game 1 down. And that was hardly out of nowhere..we may not have worked the keeper much, but we'd had plenty of possession probing round the box and put a few good crosses in. The second a chance opens up or a cross falls.right we've always got a good chance of scoring.

Exeter certainly been the better side but with the quality we have we’ll nearly always score a goal

Hopefully crack on from here

God, that was undeserved !

Quite possibly the worst half of football seen under Leam so far. Hope he has some answers and can get something resembling a positive performance out of the squad in the second half.

And Exeter still have their best two players on the bench.

Thought we were improved 10 mins before the goal.

I feel like I watch a different game to people sometimes.

LOL at their goal...(and our defending) I don't really think you should be credited with a goal if someone kicks it and it just bounces in off you.

Probably shouldn't leave a guy in virtually ten yards of space in our box at a corner. And maybe not leave just a nice bare corridor through the middle of the goal either.

I didn’t watch Orient or Peterboro away but sounds like they were considerably worse than that

It’s same old. We do some good things, tidy, good movement but our wingers and forwards for whatever don’t get the ball in dangerous areas enough. When they do we often score

yup

and bigger picture stuff - we're a squad going through a second restructuring in about nine months, we're clearly not the finished product yet are rarely so well beaten we're out of a game and we are on recent form (before tonight, 11 from 6 games, just shy of the magic 2 ppg) that's probably equivalent to play offs spot over the season.

And, if we keep within a sniff of the playoffs, we will improve.

No, wait, everything is awful.

I know we are notoriously slow starters but to only get going at 45 minutes is poor.

The goal was actually a passing movement, out to the wing , a cross into the box and fortunately their defenders were thinking of half-time with Keane having loads of room for a tap -in.

Yes Leam, we can be a passing team, it doesn't have to be hoofball.

Exeter will be kicking themselves as, with a bit more care, they could have been 3 up.

Two mid-table sides, as with Saturday neither looking likely to challenge around the top of the table although Exeter have looked the better of the two.
A game of two halves where we now dominate and come out of it as 3-1 winners?
Let's hope so.

The way I saw it was that Dorsett rushed across the penalty area following the ball, mistimed his header leaving about 4 of our defenders watching the ball and not challenging.
Maybe a result of too many new defenders being uncertain of their jobs?

Not everything has come off for Keane at all but the way he comes to get the ball and try to link play is exactly what we need

If he can sharpen up then I can see him doing well
