Not sure why you feel bad for Liam Moore; he played in the PL with Leicester and demonstrated he wasn’t good enough at that level, plus we were paying him £35k per week for most of his time with us.

He'll end up at Cardiff - Bellamy is there every week so he'll have a good chance of getting back in to the Wales squad.

£800k seems decent for the level he's playing at and his contract situation. Appreciate 50% of it goes to Man Utd, but looking at the bigger picture, we signed a player who made c. 100 league appearances for free (at a time we had no money) and got a fee at the end of it.

For a 23-year-old international League One player in their final contract year, the average transfer fee typically ranges between £300,000 and £750,000.

The above would suggest we are getting top dollar if the rumoured price is true.

Sheff Weds looking at getting Bannan back plus reported as looking at Jamie Vardy! add Savage and Rinhomota and it's looking like they are aiming to bounce right back again. It's going to be a much tougher league next season with the likes of Leicester and the clubs near the top who failed in the playoffs.
Our Summer business needs to be spot on and Leam will be hoping for a kind early run of fixtures otherwise things will turn real messy in a hurry.

Not sure what they can do as the FL will be watching SW very carefully and, as with Reading, will have to have agreed a budget which SW will not be able to break. Presume the new owners did finally agree to give the minimum required pence in the pound in taking the club over to avoid the associated points penalty.

He's only played U21 for Wales but that's largely due to Bellamy's love of Cardiff and hate of Reading.

Why does Bellamy hate Reading?

See the interview re our 106 team a couple of years ago, and what he said after Burnley missed the chance to break it when they drew with us.

It was reported that the new SW owners didn’t offer anywhere near the required 25p in the pound (less than 10p), instead they hired some sports lawyer who got the EFL to simply not apply their own regulations. Allegedly various clubs were unhappy and were going to raise it at the June EFL AGM.
