Rumours of Azeez being sold today on X.....to Villa with a sum of £30m mentioned......think we have a 20% sell on so that could be good squad building money if true.

I think Azeez is a very good player but I can't see Villa, or anyone, paying £30m for him. I think he needs to go into a Prem team with less lofty ambitions, develop there, then he may become a £30m player

Getting fed up of being stuck down here and only briefly seeing these damn good players like Azeez & Olise and having to sell them early due to shortcomings caused by management and owners.

When you consider the prices being paid for much more unproven players I don't think that sum is that far fetched ... but maybe closer to £20million is more realistic.

Don't think he's worth anything near that but however, 20% of 15 million would give us 3 million and would pay for our Academy for another season and total prove that having the academy is worth its weight in gold!!!

3 million would be useful, also believe we had a structured deal for Knibbs which gave a payment at the end of the season and a survival bonus from them. Also Abbey had a sell on and Bindon has a sell on clause.

I think that's a very good move for him - he'll do well for them. I wouldn't be surprised to see him playing for a League 1 club in a few year's time.

was it established if we got any benefit from the Gittens sale to Chelsea or is that one too far removed?

We absolutely would have got something but I'm certainly too lazy to work it out, we get something for every international transfer.

Bynoe-Gittens was with Reading for 5 years between the ages of 9 and 14 I believe. So Reading would certainly have got something from transfer fees paid for him under FIFA’s solidarity scheme.

Reckon he’ll start getting his break next season now Alonso’s at Chelsea.

This is always a good tool: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/solidarityFeeCalculator

Seems we would've got about £243,000 (5%), plus another potential £18,000.
