Now admitted by PGMO that there was a "misjudgement" by the ref and the goal should have been disallowed.

Hate VAR, get rid of it asap. Much rather human error than a system where ex-referees look at something for ages, at all speeds and angles then get a decision obviously wrong.

VAR was correct for this one, it's was the ref who decided twice (as it happened and after VAR told him to look at it again) that it wasn't handball.

……and the game would’ve moved on a lot quicker, regardless.

It’s making a long draaaawwwwwnnnnnn-out sham of the game, decisions have always been called incorrectly, nothings changed much even with VAR

Evidently

.... slightly agree but only on the basis of 'Reversi' ....
...wager would have been a Red Card for a Burnley player challenging like that EVERY day of the week!

Havertz was very lucky to get away with that, but as usual the reaction is as if Arsenal are the only team that get the rub of the green.

I can give at least 4 examples of city players getting incidents overlooked by VAR.

How did you Arsenal fans get like this so quickly? Yet you still can't see why people don't want you to succeed

Agreed, dodging a red card is far more serious that dodging 115 charges for 3 years.

I agree, it was, I was as astounded as anyone when he wasn`t sent to the screen.
But Burnley didn`t test Raya once in a 111 minutes, would they have done against 10 men?
We`ll never know.

Lots of fishy decisions. There was also Raya foul last week where Arsenal have been doing that all season unpunished

Although that might keep Spurs up

Agree. Said this for so long now.

We've gone from endless daily debates over a single decision by the ref and linesman... to endless daily debates about VAR. It's tiresome and unenjoyable.

It also saps all energy in the ground ot have stupid VAR involved. It's just utter shite and needs to stop.
