I didn't much like the badge when it was produced, preferred the centenary at Elm Park badge. But it's grown on me over the years and I see no reason to change it.

Tilehurst's badge is nicer than ours, I'd happily take that over the current one

Jay, as a gifted chap that you are, how about conjuring up a new badge with the Forbury Lion (previous page), with no round badge. The lion being the focal point, maybe a ribbon below and/or above. Simplistic but representative of Reading.

That's also a nice shirt design. Sadly we'll probably see Puma sign a new deal and the shirt will be another abomination.

If we can't bring back the "Three Elms" thing, then just leave it alone

Both very decent badges. No need to change but wouldn't kick up a fuss if we did.

Could we see it in shield-form?

What kind of shield should I do, I'm really struggling to make the text look modern and appealing in a shield

I was thinking similar to the England one I posted earlier, with 'READING FOOTBALL CLUB' in the top and 'est. 1871' underneath. Like the Middlesbrough badge.

I would suggest one with just the Maiwand Lion silhouette just like the Spurs badge, but with a Puma kit that would look ridiculous.

Hah. Still, a lion and a puma on the same shirt would look a bit silly.
