It mystifies me how Solskaar got the gig. This was a bloke that bored the pants off Cardiff fans and failed miserably there, and gave him a contract on the basis of a few games.....
You know what...Stam would have been a better option and way forward than OGS.

It was the lack of any urgency that really shone through. When Utd were at their peak, if they found themselves a goal or 2 down you just knew that for whatever time remained it would be wave after wave of attack - overlapping full backs, midfielders driving at players etc but yesterday nothing. I know City are the best team in the country but Utd didn't even try to get back into the game, or simply didn't have an idea how to and that must really hurt Utd fans at the moment.

Watching United last night and my overwhelming thought was that they are really, really fu cked for the foreseeable future. Not one of their players would adequately replace any in the City, Liverpool or Spurs line ups.

Still, they will always have the Class of '92 and 1999, which were so last century. Literally.
