The hold up, presumably, is that we don't know the outcome of tonight's game. It could be that, for logistical reasons, the week containing the 7th/8th can only accommodate 2 televised replays and a third replay (or put another way, the least attractive replay, i.e. Reading v Bradford) if the 2 teams involved want the money that comes with a televised game, gets given the short straw, i.e. 16th March.EPR2.0 wrote:Does anybody know what scenario is preventing it from being confirmed already? AFAIK Liverpool / Blackburn and Man U / Arsenal are all lined up for April 7/8th replays so what's the hold up?
Only if Wigan and Millwall continue their poor form. That isn't a given........................... they both could go on a late run, especially Wigan!paultheroyal wrote:Crazy!Haag Royal wrote:If I was Steve Clarke I'd be tempted to put out a second string team v Brighton and Watford. Would give at least 5-6 first teamers a week's break. Nothing to lose and by doing this. They look collectively knackered on Saturday.
Strong team tomorrow and rest players Monday. Your method they will be so rested they will be playing horizontal come Bradford!
Tomorrow is a massive match. Whoever wins that are as good as safe!!
Still don't understand how tonight has got anything to do with it. Arsenal are playing in Monaco 17th March!M Brook wrote:The hold up, presumably, is that we don't know the outcome of tonight's game. All will become clear in the next 24 hours!
Maybe if Arsenal/Utd don't draw, we can take the 7th or 8th of April date as it will be "free"KC Royal wrote:Still don't understand how tonight has got anything to do with it.
