Time for him to move on, dont seem to be botherd.Bristol Paul wrote: ↑02 May 2026 16:38 Overall performance usual crap but WiFi has been a disgrace and not even tried.
You say the lack of firepower isn’t Richardson’s fault. We needed a striker in January and we brought in his mate will keaneArmadillo Roadkill wrote: ↑02 May 2026 18:26 Booing isn't going to help, although for once, I do understand it, and don't entirely condemn it. I think both the owners and the manager will realise that 2 points from 18 is not good enough.
Lane and Kyerewaa were bright and progressive. Worked hard and were brave. No complaints from me about either of them, and I have been very critical of Lane at times in the past. Abrefa was OK.
And that's about it. Everyone else was mediocre at best.
We knew at that start of the season we didn't have any kind of depth up front. MoM proved to be, I'm sorry to say, useless. Kelvin E tried to fit in, but it's not his position, and he struggled for any kind of consistency. With Marriott we could score, without we really struggled. That lack of firepower isn't Richardson's fault.
The football was pretty awful today. I'm fairly sure Richardson will be here next season.
Much as Richardson needs to go, the striker thing is more on Hunt....not rating Wareham for starters and the 2 players you said we had signed but didn't get have done nothing all season. You'd think as a striker himself he'd have done better. I doubt Marriott would even have been signed if we'd got the forwards he was after.Brogue wrote: ↑02 May 2026 18:45You say the lack of firepower isn’t Richardson’s fault. I expect Ian and papes to be the first ones to eat just a portion of humble pie.Brogue wrote: ↑02 May 2026 17:05 Think I might be due an apology from the people who had a go at me wanting this fraud to go. He was never the right appointment from day one. If it had t been for a number of dubious victory’s when Marriott was scoring from one shot on target all game we would have been in or around 18th. He has to go. It isn’t working the players are not playing for him.
Did Noel not rate Wareham? He had Wareham in the under 21s and trusted him in the first team after Smith left. Always got the impression that higher ups didn't think he was worth more than a year rather than Noel not rating him.Mid Sussex Royal wrote: ↑02 May 2026 18:52Much as Richardson needs to go, the striker thing is more on Hunt....not rating Wareham for starters and the 2 players you said we had signed but didn't get have done nothing all season. Nah, Brogue can eat shit for all I care, he was Leam out from day 1 which was utterly unreasonable, still cosplaying as a Chinese journalist and is calling fans who stayed behind to clap the players "not real fans"South Coast Royal wrote: ↑02 May 2026 19:46I expect Ian and papes to be the first ones to eat just a portion of humble pie.Brogue wrote: ↑02 May 2026 17:05 Think I might be due an apology from the people who had a go at me wanting this fraud to go. Both doggedly defended LR as the initial positive accumulation of points eventually nosedived as the lack of points eventually reflected performances.
Not a great season to be a fan once we got used to the joy of our club being no longer under the threat of extinction-the disappointment came about mainly because of the hype that unfortunately our Yank comes out with like so many others who inhabit the country that is the ex-ally of ours.
Perhaps next season will be about trying to produce fireworks on the pitch rather than off it.
