It was originally based on focusing on the game and being positive, it was actively about NOT engaging in flinging insults at the away fans.

I certainly haven't lied, what I said was true. It may be that they also stated they wanted a European atmosphere (which doesn't necessarily mean an aggressive antagonistic one).

Thought Club 1871 were very good today.

I was disappointed with the behaviour of a few of the members which led to the most ejections I have seen from that part of the ground t date. I think it's quite clear that there are so many aspects of the campaign which aren't working that we will not see a return next season.

There did seem to be a bit of aggro and bating of the opposition supporters. I suppose it is inevitable to an extent

Still it looked popular and made a bit of noise. Generally a good thing, and it does seem to be becoming regularly popular

Once the South Stand initiative took off it was always going to become another Y25/26, despite the idea being to be 100% team focused.

At the end of the day we all want extra noise and in that respect it’s been a success and continues to grow.

There is already sifficient netting between the away fans and the South home fans!

A little bit of aggro is always going to happen now and again. Y26 is certainly familiar with that and enjoy their share of baiting the away fans!

Club 1871 were never going to get their way in total. They were in that respect a bit naive, but what we now have is working and is clearly much better for us a club!

On a serious note, I was sat in the Premier Suite (SW corner) on Saturday and it was noticeable how sparse Y25/26 looked.
