Tbf, the QPR mistake wasn't game changing as they never scored the pen. If he hadn't had made the challenge, it would probably have still finished 1-0.

pedantic, but it did change the game - QPR didn't look like scoring then suddenly had as good a chance to score out of nowhere.

What it didn't do is change the result.

Nah, the fact that we couldn't string more than 3 passes together in the 20 minutes before the penalty, certainly signifies that QPR didn't look like scoring. That and the ~20 shots they had.

Edwards deliberately gave away the penalty, so Fulham would take an age making sure and then Mannone would save it.

If he had not given away the penalty, QPR would've scored two quick goals from open play
