....bad luck! ....this was on the very fringes of my range for tonight, tho I do prefer non-league League games.
I am off for the week too, so could have ventured further ......and yet again the weather is against me, not for the first time this year already.

Decided the dreaded 'too soggy to start' syndrome might be the undoing of many games locally, so am 'bound to the sofa' half-watching Citeh and trying NOT to expect anything from Highbury tonight.

As it stands plenty did survive close to hand (other than Rivermoor) so hope I don't regret my wimp-out.

Combined Counties very upset with the Reading City postponement after 2 league matches postponed to make way for it tonight- the match will be now switched to Flackwell i would imagine, which maybe should have been done yesterday.
My mate has gone to Uxbridge v Binfield also switched to the newly installed 3 g pitch.

...odd perhaps that one of their 'gripes' to justify their late withdrawal was the date of the Final being too late in May.
Maybe Milton should have been reinstated but the rules presumably preclude that option?

Plus: Why would the staging be any different for the other clubs involved?

Consequence of the FA insisting on mid-late April finish times for STEP1-4 ?

I hope so as he is playing well, which hasn’t always been the case- my MOM was left full-back John Ryan who had a cracking game. Definitely one to watch along with young Joe Barough who has impressed me every time i have seen him play.
