Karacan Continues Progress

Jem Karacan continues to make excellent progress on his return from injury and has returned to training ahead of schedule. Karacan is expected to increase his training over the next couple of weeks and could well be approaching fitness before the season kicks-off against Stoke City in just less than a month's time on 18th August.

Karacan has been out of action since 6 April 2012 when his ankle was broken during the home game against Leeds United. Karacan was subjected to a series of wild challenges that afternoon. Leeds' Pugh should have already had a red card for a bad foul on Jem, before Brown followed it up with a vicious tackle that saw Karacan forced to sit out the rest of Reading's promotion season.
