Reading have been drawn away to Championship side Cardiff City in the fourth round of the FA Cup. It's another unexciting draw for the Royals who also faced opposition from the same Division in the third round both this season and last. Reading were 1-0 away winners at Huddersfield in the last round on Saturday thanks to Nick Blackman's second half goal. Meanwhile Cardiff were 3-1 home winners against Colchester in round three.
Reading lost 1-2 at Cardiff in the league back in November. Our last FA Cup fixture against Cardiff was a 0-2 defeat in the third round in January 2009. Cardiff are currently four places above the Royals in 12th place.
The fourth round tie will take place on Saturday 24 January.
