Ian Royal Now he's saying that NHunt will be an excellent goal scoring right winger for us.
Of course the only real evidence we have is his ~45 minutes against Chelsea, where he contributed essentially zero. I mean it took me 20 minutes to realise he'd come on at half time ffs!
NHunt for the middle = yes please.
NHunt for the right wing = not unless HRK, Henry, Kebe, Church and Long aren't available to play there on that one showing.
There's a fundamental problem with this LIST and that's the apparent need to score points rather than debate accurately.
Noel Hunt played a large proportion of his games at Dundee ON THE RIGHT WING
and he said as much when he arrived at the club.
But don't take MY word for it. Try looking at the Reading FC official profile.
Enjoys the strikers role,
but can also play in wide areas as well. Started his career with Shamrock Rovers in the League Of Ireland before
a switch to Dunfermline. He then moved on to Dundee United, and scored
in the Scottish Cup final before his move south.
And WHY play him wide in 4-3-3 or 4-5-1?
BECAUSE, if he's good enough as a winger (and he has plenty of experience as a winger)
we also know he's a real goal-scorer
