Pardew spent £1 million on just the one player-interestingly doing what he did with us by buying a leading lower-level striker proven and continuing to score goals,i.e for Lambert read Butler.
Back to Ferguson it now looks as though the sacking is more about looking for another job rather than the league position.
I wonder if Brendan has been looking for another job.

Also won two promotions in two seasons, which ain't half bad. Of course, that's not as good as winning the Reserves Premiership title.
