Ian RoyalrabidbeeIan Royal What's the point in a discussion board if you can't have a reasonable discussion...?
What are you doing on Hob Nob then?
I'm not being unreasonable. I have a differing viewpoint and am expressing it. That's all.
Can't have much of a discussion without differing viewpoints and at least two opposing arguments.

rabidbee I was actually implying it's impossible to have a reasonable discussion on Hob Nob, but never mind.

juanpablo love this board
Griffin is the best thing since sliced bread (somebody even stated perhaps the best in last ten years)![]()
and Kebe is still terrible
typical English football attitude

Unfortunately,
Griffin = White
Kebe = Black
A significant proportion of Reading fans = Racists

Royal_Delight Anyone knows when Sig is coming back? Despite better performances by Kebe last night, I still think we lack creativity and its obvious that we need him for the next few matches.

I thought that by and large their fans were shite, especially if you think back to "Viking Day" etc. However, them singing "Go West Bromwich Albion" to the tune of Pet Shop Boys - Go West did make me LOLhandbags_harrisFiNeRaInLoyalRoyalFan I must laugh though at the West Brom fans who thought that they were the loudest team ever to come to the Madejski. 4,000 of them and they barely made much noise.
Agreed, massive numbers - loud outside the ground but complete fair weather fans inside and when things weren't going well for them.
I thought karacan and howard were really poor today. Over-run most of the game and karacans lack of footballing ability really worries me.
Pretty much spot on IMO. "You're only here for the Albion"? Get over yourself you bunch of spastic-speaking bastards, you're not even the biggest team in the Midlands!!
Karacan reminds me of Phil Parkinson in some respects - excellent at winning the ball back but the passing ability of a thalidomide victim. Bertrand was average once again, failing to do the obvious thing and show Chris Brunt onto his right foot for the first equaliser. Ingimarsson and Mills struggled up against Bednar, and Ingi's header which he completely missed proved to be critical.
Somewhat disappointed with West Brom. There appeared to be times when they just dropped off and showed a distinct lack of interest, but when they clicked into gear they dictated play.Reasonably impressed with Bednar, and Koren's 2nd was a cracking strike but, in all honesty, the amount of space the central midfield ball-carrier was given in the face of a constantly retreating defence was massively frustrating. Having gone 4-3-2 when West Brom were reduced to 10 men, when we took the lead I would have personally placed Church out right and gone 4-4-1, which would have given us the option of getting the extra man forward had we needed to. Two banks of four, play through us. If we do that, the 2nd equaliser probably doesn't arrive IMO as the extra defensive man may have given Griffin the opportunity to track Koren.
Oh well, The Hawthorns it is in 10-11 days. Two days after I start my new job. I hope they allow me to leave on time!!

Are you serious? Kebe's only issue of sorts is that he needs to work on his crossing.
When he's on the ball, I get the feeling that the only person capable of tackling him is himself. Just pass the ball to him and let him run at a 1,000mph towards goal and that's all you need from him. Look at the first half of last season for further proof. The man was on FIRE

rabidbee The thing that is most surprising about Kébé's goal is that he actually won a tackle in the build-up.
On their first goal, I think Fed expected the guy in the middle (Bednar) to get a head to it, and was already trying to react for the header from point-blank when it went straight through to the far post.
Church defo onside, Dirk.
Really annoying that nobody was marking Maddock.

Agreed with all of the above.I also thought Jay Tabb should have gotten a lot closer to Cox in the build-up to their second goal.

Thats plain daft...it was a decent chip which Carson couldn't hold onto. Great run and good finish from Churchy.
