Four Of Clubs HEADS UP - for those who were considering going to Scours THIS Saturday (6th)
... can't confirm anything yet BUT it appears Highmoor/IBIS are supposed to be playing a Reading Senior Cup Tie @ Scours KO 14:00 vs Flackwell Heath.
If this is the case, it must put the forthcoming RTFC v Shrivvy game in doubt, I 'd have thought?![]()
The Shrivenham website IS NOT showing their League match at Scours as a forthcoming fixture now?
I'll investigate further and report back. Nothing showing up on the Official fixture site yet. I'd be surprised if this competition takes priority over an Hellenic Premier Game - it's not exactly 'County Level'?

Stuffed Crust Pizza I read about this game in the media and was also slightly confused. I'm hoping they mean the game will be played at the Prudential IBIS Club further up the Lane, where Highmoor/IBIS usually play. I've asked the question on the RTFC forum and will post the answer on here. But it you hear something, FOC, please let us know!

Free Entry Fixture
In a bid to reach out to more people in the Guildford area and hopefully persuade some first time visitors to come back again, the club are pleased to announce that all supporters attending the Guildford City v North Greenford United fixture at Spectrum on Saturday 6 March will gain entry for free.

Stuffed Crust Pizza Fantastic preview as per usual FOC. Oh, and for the record Reading Town are definately taking Shrivenham on at Scours Lane. The Highmoor/IBIS v Flackwell Heath cup game will take place at the Prudential IBIS Club. Perhaps if with a few more Nobbers in attendance, Town can reap the rewards of their first 100+ crowd this season!

Royal Rother W&E 4-0 Paulton Rovers. An enjoyable game and good to meet up with Terminal Boardom again down at The Meadow.
Very tough and tight game against the team in 3rd for the most part. For the first 5 minutes and the last 15 we looked like we could score with every attack, but in between it was very even, and actually, although Paulton seemed to lack a real threat in front of goal, Bullivant had far more saves to make during the game than their 'keeper.
But in the spell where we broke them (3 goals in about 15 minutes) we were bleedin' awesome.
Although he only came on as a sub, missed a couple of games recently having broken his hand, Andrew Fagan is absolute class, a rock in the centre of defence, right back last season, but a more than capable midfielder - so calm in possesion, deceptively quick and I love the way he just ghosts pasts the full back when he's on an overlap. My POTS.
Bruce Wilson's free kick was something to behold - we had no idea he was going to go for goal; well outside the area, he just looked to stride up ready to deliver the ball into the area then suddenly the ball seemed to accelerate in mid-air like an exocet and thundered onto the underside of the cross bar and over the line. A cracking strike!
Chennells could easily have bagged another hat-trick today and I should imagine he'll be feeling a little disappointed he only got the one. His mazy dribble late on where he left 3 defenders spinning in the turf deserved a goal but the 'keeper made just about his only proper save of the game.
Ex Torquay defender David Woozley (now a fireman) had a very steady debut - looks strong and assured with a no nonsense approach.
Totton also won 4-0 so the gap remains at 16 points and Totton are still facing a very taxing schedule with 2 and 3 games a week here on in so promotion as Champions is looking more and more likely. Trouble is, I do suspect Keith Scott, with his professional playing background and management success at Windsor, is likely to be offered a Conference job at the very least next season. W&E have bugger all money so he would have to go with everyone's thanks and best wishes but one can only guess at the effect his departure would have on the team.
Oh well, in the meantime, we are just savouring every moment of this season.
W&E are at home to Gosport on Tuesday. Come on down!

WINDSOR & Eton have sent an official letter applying for Ryman Premier League status for next season providing they gain promotion.
The Royalists are top of the Southern League Division One South & West at the moment but are not counting their chickens, only assessing their options and the possibility of switching across which of course is not guaranteed.
Should they reach the Premier Division, travel wise, it would appear to make much more sense to play in the Ryman League and is likely to increase the number of visiting fans to Stag Meadow.
Chairman Peter Simpson confirmed after Saturday's impressive 4-0 victory over third placed Paulton Rovers that he had written to both the Zamaretto Southern League and Ryman Isthmian League.
He commented: "I have written to both the Southern League and the Ryman League, The Ryman League said they would welcome us with open arms and it is our spiritual home. I have not heard back from the Southern League as yet."

AndyRFC United Services Portsmouth 4-0 AFC Aldermarston
Went to this as I was down for Pompey v Birmingham and the USP Ground was in the City Centre next to the rail connections. Had to leave at 2-0, after an hour or so due to other commitments in the Royal County in the evening. Enjoyable, must be the lowest level game i've ever seen.
AFC were 1-0 down within 2 minutes, their 'keeper run out to try and clear a ball which found the winger who crossed and the striker mishit a shot in off a post into an empty net. 2-0 at Half time, with AFC just not managing to be able to defend.
I counted 17 in attendance, and just like Kentish Town, it was in essence an Athletics Ground, one nice stand holding 500, and a Navy Bar.

Andy - is that the ground amongst the university buildings?
