Fair enough.
All opinions heard and all valid of course.
The point of this thread was to boost Feds' morale but it's been take the wrong way.
I trust Feds bears in mind that it's easier to criticise and point out obvious mistakes than it is to encourage and praise and that this thread cannot be indicative of the mood of fans in general.
In the words of Mick Gooding Feds is a "fantasic keeper" and whilst fans may pat themselves on the back for gleefully pointing out errors that a 2 year old would've picked up, few if any have the expertise the likes of Gooding/ McDermott etc do, who see the other side of what makes a good keeper.
Perhaps this is a message then to Feds to carry on doing the good work but not trying anything fancy or dangerous if he wants to keep his rightful place ahead of young ones.
Not having a steady defence in front of him all season of course doesn't help but that's not in his hands.
Im confident that a bit of tightening up and playing it safe will help us focus on his many positives instead. I'm sure McD will have the necessary chats with him (as well as sort out a steady defence to support him!)
Keep up the good work Federici!
