Snowball Or start your own stats threads (they will clearly be MUCH better)
and, OBVIOUSLY, people will flock to that "much better" stats thread
LOL. The argument of a 5 year old.

Snowball Why not have a stats thread which is separate
and another thread for the sensible, deeply-motivated constructive bloke
and other critics/moaners/WUMS to post as much and as often as they like about it?
Just separate the stats themselves
Or start your own stats threads (they will clearly be MUCH better)
and, OBVIOUSLY, people will flock to that "much better" stats thread
and this one will die on the vine

Wycombe Royal So basically you want your own thread that no one else can post on and that only contains stats. That isn't what a discussion forum is for.

Snowball Explain, Sir. Why is that a childish argument?
I would say it's a very reasonable adult suggestion.
I believe my stats, even with flaws, are of real interest to the majority here
but the threads are contaminated, sullied by the constant barracking.
Surely, those who dislike my version of statting, can clearly do better?
And surely, if they did, their threads would be well-supported and my "useless" ones not?

In a nutshell. LOL @ demanding the terms of engagement on a message board you contribute to. Run your own if you aren't happy. Don't see what all the fuss is about. Develop a sense of humour. And be grateful that other members of the human race wish to debate with you, despite your appalling social skills.

cmonurzSnowballTerminal Boardom This is either for Strap or Snowball.
What with 6 wins on the spin, what have been the best winning runs in the second tier and what was the final league position? I think the best we had was 10 in 2005/06 and we all know what happened then.
Strap
But cmonurz says we had 13 not too long ago
Cmonurz is right.
One for strap to confirm as Snowball is a relative newbie to RFC, but Reading’s 13 wins in a row to start the 85/86 (?) season is a football league record. I don’t know if we’ve beaten it with another run mid-season, but I’d doubt it, we’re Reading, not Barca.

No. Not at all. The two threads could be pinned right next to each other
One thread has the main, regular stats, the adjacent thread discusses them.
Just like right now There's the Tilehurst End (separate blog) and discussion here OF that blog
The difference would be that those trying to FIND the stats could do so.
Right now they have to wade through a sea of vitriol to find any stats
