winchester_royal Think Rodgers will do well at Liverpool. He'll have learnt a lot from his time at Reading, and will have the resources to put a really good coaching staff in place to implement his ideas (something he certainly didn't have here).
I wish him luck, has always spoken very highly of Reading despite the circumstances of his departure.

The only thing he learnt at Reading was how to lose every week. So should be ideal for the Liverpool job.

Extended-Phenotype I don't like him purely for asthetic reasons. He looks like he has just activated an alien reactor before being sucked out of a depressurizing control room onto the rocky surface and inhabitable atmosphere of planet Mars.

Former Watford chairman Graham Simpson, who gave Rodgers his first managerial job in football, told BBC Radio 5 live:
"Quite a lot has been spoken about Rodgers in the corridors of football. Players have respect for him. When he came to see me, we sat down for three to four hours and he came with his philosophy.
"He brought with him a heavy file which he went through explaining why and how the game should be played.
Royal Lady As much as I dislike him - I have to give him credit for not rubbing it in when he beat us at Wembley. I'd have been dancing around like a mad thing, but he was very understated so kudos to him for that.
