So, it is now down to two teams who can get more than 106. Let's hope we can put a dent in the Wolves attempt and take three points off them on the 3rd. March. I am allowed to dream aren't I?Tony Le Mesmer wrote:Update. Just 4 left.
Wolves 116
Wigan 114
Shrewsbury 106
Luton 106
Shrewsbury lost today but can still do 106.Tony Le Mesmer wrote:Update. Just 4 left.

Real danger of wolves doing it. I really don't see them losing the 3 games/ 2 games and 2 draws
Are you joking? In the last 8 games they've lost to Nottingham Forest and drawn with Barnsley. Not to mention drawing today with Preston.double d wrote:Imagine if luton win every single game the rest of the season and get 106.

Once they're up they'll take their foot off the gas, and that's when the draws start to happen. In the 106 season, we had 79 points after 32 games, so seven more than Wolves have at the same point in the season. In the last 14 games we had six draws and one loss, after only drawing seven and losing one in the previous 32 games.double d wrote:Imagine if luton win every single game the rest of the season and get 106.

This a million times, we got 106 despite taking our foot off the gas near the end of the season, that's how bloody impressive it was.Skyline wrote:Once they're up they'll take their foot off the gas, and that's when the draws start to happen. I forgot that. To be honest im forgetful as oxf*rd at the moment, too much coffee and water, so cant remember much. We should have gone for 110 pointtidus_mi2 wrote:This a million times, we got 106 despite taking our foot off the gas near the end of the season, that's how bloody impressive it was.Skyline wrote:Once they're up they'll take their foot off the gas, and that's when the draws start to happen. I think to be fair to the "106 team", they finished with a run of 4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6 games...so not really taking their foot of the gas in my opinion. Let's just agree....QUALITY team that yeartidus_mi2 wrote:This a million times, we got 106 despite taking our foot off the gas near the end of the season, that's how bloody impressive it was.Skyline wrote:Once they're up they'll take their foot off the gas, and that's when the draws start to happen. They won promotion so early they had time to take their foot off the gas for a while and then still finish strong to take the record.Barney wrote:I think to be fair to the "106 team", they finished with a run of 4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6 games...so not really taking their foot of the gas in my opinion. We dropped 10 points in our last 9 games.Snowflake Royal wrote:They won promotion so early they had time to take their foot off the gas for a while and then still finish strong to take the record.Barney wrote:I think to be fair to the "106 team", they finished with a run of 4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6 games...so not really taking their foot of the gas in my opinion. Indeed - we would have been the first team to hit 100 points and 100 goals in one season. I'm pretty sure that by missing out by just one goal we came closer to doing it than any other team.Snowflake Royal wrote:Such a shame we fell 1 goal short.
