I thought this would be about something like what Mr Schofield did, from Bowen.morganb wrote:Snowball wrote:err....WoodleyRoyal wrote:So why do you want him out?
Think the Out. is an abbreviation for Outstanding
He's so slow......Snowball wrote:err....WoodleyRoyal wrote:So why do you want him out?
To score goals we need to create chances. The pieces that are available haven't gelled yet. Is this down to a lack of traing ground time, or are the players not suited. Jury's out. Though glimmers today with Meite and Puscas no longer yards apart.Snowball wrote: Had we a striker on top-top form, we would be significantly higher

Odd then that I don't FEEL we're that good
Not enough wisdom in the side, Adam does help with that aspect although even he is prone to poor decision making at times with shots from ridiculous anglesLower West wrote:To score goals we need to create chances. Improvement can only be incremental. As long as we move forwards and upwards. Hopefully Adam will join the coaching staff.URZZZZ wrote:Not enough wisdom in the side, Adam does help with that aspect although even he is prone to poor decision making at times with shots from ridiculous anglesLower West wrote:To score goals we need to create chances. You can have all the talent in the world but you always need that modicum of experience and intelligence in your team. Swift, Ejaria, Puscas etc do make the wrong decisions too often
It's one reason why I rate Morrison so much, he's had a few poor games but on the whole, you can tell how his experience helps out the other defenders. For example, a defence of Yiadom - Moore - Miazga - Obita, whilst it probably looks better on paper than our defence today, in reality it's lacking a proper leader
Not sure he would, more likely to be involved in the Blackpool coaching set up if he were to go down that route. Even now, his name is being thrown about for the current Blackpool manager jobLower West wrote:Improvement can only be incremental. As long as we move forwards and upwards. Needs to acquire coaching badges first, Where better than Reading.URZZZZ wrote:Not sure he would, more likely to be involved in the Blackpool coaching set up if he were to go down that route. Although youve done a bit of your usual stats massage, this conclusion is pretty much sound. We are certainly better than we were under Gomez and the last season of Stam, but are still pretty bang average overall. What your stats do show is that we need to make more steps to be a genuine top half/top six team. Just as you wouldnt read too much in the Hull draw because of the nature of the equaliser, I wouldnt read too much into beating an out of form 10 man team. Its a good result, dont get me wrongSnowball wrote: The stats are pretty good.

I do feel most of the pieces are there. It's just about finding the final couple, or maturing players into them, and then molding the second choice players into the right blend to give us relatively seamless back up for injuries / suspension and loss of form and a plan b.Dr_Hfuhruhurr wrote:Although youve done a bit of your usual stats massage, this conclusion is pretty much sound. The only result I was truly disappointed in was the Birmingham result. And we usually have more disappointing results in a season than that. Also that was negated by the Preston result - the sort of result we havent got much of recently. Overall, we are better, and the stats dont lie. But in actuality we have quite a way to go and quite a lot of damage to repair. Pointing in the right direction, though.
Sheesh, really?Stranded wrote:One interesting* stat. Yesterday marked our 11th win this season. The first time we have managed to hit that mark since the play off season under Stam
